2008 is a long way off, especially in "internet years". Hopefully by then the transition to the internet as a source of news will have been completed by then...and we won't need CNN-lite anymore.

It is interesting to point out that Murdoch has sought to appease Chinese officials in the past. FOX is where a good number of so-called "patriotic" Americans get their news. How many will fail to hear any warning signals because they trust FOX to keep them informed about issues critical to American security?
