TIJUANA, Mexico - A restaurateur in this border city ran another business smuggling Lebanese compatriots into the United States, some with connections to Hezbollah. A Sept. 11 commission staff report called him the only "human smuggler with suspected links to terrorists" convicted in the United States. But he is not unique, according to an Associated Press investigation based on government and court records and scores of interviews.
Many smuggling pipelines through Latin America and Canada have illegally channeled thousands of people from countries identified by the U.S. government as sponsors or supporters of terrorism.

And perhaps not. Many native born US Hispanics are as much against illegal immigrants as anyone else. Some more so. I still remember how shocked I was to hear a friend, herself only first or second generation Hispanic and very "Indio" looking, say something about "those d@%n Mexican"

After the next terrorist attack (which will be spectacular, ugly and large with many, many victims) let it be proved the terrorists came into our country illegally via our southern border.

That's new to me, as well, hearing native born mexicans deride 'wetbacks'. Turns out the nouveaux are cutting into their state bennies.
You know, as I was writing that I was thinking of my D-i-L's parents and that they have the same attitude. Second generation Americans, the grandmother is a charter citizen of the State of Arizona.
So, yes, it could easily be as you suggest.

This particular lady's "benefits" consist of putting up with rooms full of 5 to 12 year old kids all day. Her hubby, whose has a Hispanic surname as well, but whose family's residence in Texas goes back to when it was part of New Spain, is a retired Lt. Col. U.S.Army Reserve. He's also a civilian employee of the Department of the Air Force. Her father earned his keep, and provided for his family, by barbering to the Navy pukes in Kingsville.
Well then, the only questions are
1) Will they work cheap while they waiting for the word?
2) Will they do their killing on their own time and not ask for time off to do it?
3) If they are suicide terrorists will they have a replacement on the job on their next scheduled day of work?
I think that pretty much covers it for government and business -- oh, if they are into WMDs will they give key government and business personnel advanced warnings?

I think that most hispanics don't support the illegals. I think that their leaders use the race card just like the black leaders such as Jessie Jackson.
The leaders are the racists, they use it for their own power. Most hispanics I know want to border closed.
