Deahn told the Coeur d'Alene Press she was not thinking of a reward -- more than $100,000 was offered by the FBI and community groups -- when she called police.

"I just did what any red-blooded American would have done," said Deahn, who earns minimum wage -- $3.35 an hour in Idaho -- plus tips. "I hope that if it was my child who was missing, somebody would have stepped forward and helped me."

Interesting that the blog that you posted had a reference to the "one friend" he made in prison, was a Muslim Imam...

I saw a couple of guys on T.V. that said they noticed it was her getting oout of the car, they followed her inside and told the restaurant staff. Wonder who will fight over the money?!

I hope she gets every penny and more......

When we look at the greatest Americans we seem to overlook the small individual sacrifices and efforts of the folks leading simple lives that make a difference. Deahn is one of em IMHO.....
