I think the threat supposedly made by the Maras against the MM is a myth. Although it's possible they could direct violence towards the MM, I don't see the Maras going out of their way to do so.

I don't mean to be cynical, but open attacks on the Minutemen would have a a silver lining. It would do far more for getting many Americans to see the invasion aspect of immigration than any statistics could.
