"Billy Graham has called himself a Democrat"

That explains it all. Looks like I'll be having a Billy Graham bonfire this July 4th.

"Billy Graham has called himself a Democrat"

Yea, in the Zell Miller mold.

The last time he voted for a democrat for president, was Jimmy Carter, and he voted against him in 1980.

Perhaps a Billy & Slick Willy brand of bottle rocket is in order.

John Kerry takes it for a test ride (above).

Happy 4th!

Billy Graham has always tried to be inclusive in order to be able to have some influence into their lives. It has always been good intensions. But it is good intenses that sometimes get us to make poor desicions.

This resolves nothing whatsover. From the guy who called Islam "evil"?

Joke or not, just how sanctified is Billy Graham's crusade platform? Even Graham's close friend Nixon in the 60s only sat in the audience.

Just bizarre. And disappointing. This is not leadership.

"My father, of course, was joking," the younger Graham said, when he hosted the Clintons onstage and told the crowd of 90,000, "They're a great couple. ...

Hmmmm..........

anybody got his original quote? Sounded remarkably like "Bill, you should be an evangelist. Hillary can run the country." Of course, I could just be a pot smoking hippy who was too high to think, much less comprehend clearly. Wait... that would make me a 'rat...

IMHO, it is much ado aboout nothing. An off the cuff remark much like Trent Lott to Strom (God Bless Him) Thurmond.

For all the pissing and griping about Rev Graham endorsing the Clintons I'd say that the Bushes did more for endorsing and accepting them when they got chummy and worked together to raise money for the Snunami victims.

The Reverend Graham is suppose to show Christs love, he will answer to God not you nit pickers here.

"I want you to listen to me.

I'm only gonna say this one time.

I-did-not-have-an endorsement of that man.

Not one time."

Old age, Alzheimer's, Dementia, Democrat: take your pick.

There should be term limits on all Federal judges as well. They did not live this long when the Constitution was written and now they do not age so well in the head ...

Matthew 9:10-12

10While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew's house, many tax collectors and "sinners" came and ate with him and his disciples. 11When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, "Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and 'sinners'?"

12On hearing this, Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.

Those damned (opportunistic) Clintons taking advantage of an old man . .

========================================

The Rev. Billy Graham said Friday that he didn't intend to endorse Hillary Clinton for president when he told her husband at a massive New York City revival meeting last weekend that she should "run the country."

Perhaps he didn't INTEND to endorse her, but he darn sure did in the minds of what was an apparently cheering crowd according to someone who was there! The Clinton's had no business being up there to begin with, especially after Billy told Katie Couric that he was making no political statements at all these days. Sorry, but Franklin cannot undo the damage to his father's reputation, or convince those who were there that he didn't appear to endorse Hillary for President.
