GIVE ME ONE DAMN INSTANCE in where Bush has backed down on Judicial appointments?

If you don't have the facts, don't alledge otherwise. The Senate Reps are another matter.

Agreed SS - I have been disappointed with W on several fronts, but the judiciary is not one of them.

It is the Senate GOP traitors (i.e. the Gang of 7, plus the rest of the squishes like Lott, Voinovich, Specter, etc.) that must be dealt with the President, the Senate leadership and especially the grass roots.

It's shootout at the OK Corral time.

Agree Bush hasn't "backed down" on appointies but he's not used the bully pulpit to force them thru either. He's allowing Bolton to twist in the wind and he let the nitwit seven do their dirty deal without a peep.

We could be standing at the very cusp of taking back a Constitutional Republic or the abyss. This is as big as it gets.
