Today's best quote from the left:

"As an attorney, I'm thoroughly disheartened by O'Connor's resignation. I viewed her as the voice of moderation on the Court, as well as perhaps the finest legal mind -- she was always able to point out the flaws in the analyses of other Justices and to suggest new, more-durable ways of interpreting the law.

I was in a policy meeting of ten people this morning when an intern entered and announced the resignation. The consensus at the meeting was that in terms of the law, we're about to be plunged back to the 1700s; the assumption was that Rehnquist will also resign, Scalia will be named Chief Justice, and his strict-constructionist position will rule the day.

We all felt sick."

Yahooooo! This is a great day.

It isn't as though the Chief Justice gets an extra vote or anything...what IS the big deal about being Chief Justice anyway?

Ignorance and vapidity.

"Strict Constructionists" do NOT apply the IntStComm clause to backyard vegetable/home consumption businesses.
