The best thing about this is that Fox will finally shut up about Aruba.

Wow, this is definitely not social conservative appreciation day here.

Perhaps because so many self-appointed 'voices of social conservatives' here have been petulantly bleating non-stop, rudely screaming and vilifying anyone who doesn't agree with them 101%, always jumping to the worst conclusion, spouting hyperbolic doom and gloom, constantly threatening blackmail, and then tossing out every pet phrase of victimology and faux shock to anyone who calls them out on their excessiveness.

If you go around kicking at anthills you can't be shocked if you occassionally get bit.

"So far, the President has never let me down in the BIG fight. I believe he has been preparing for this a long time. I don't believe he is going to cave."

I agree. For instance, we've had Republican govenors here in Florida make some really terrible picks for our Supreme Court -- but Jeb really stepped up to the plate with his last two appointments, Justices Bell & Cantero.

Good. If they need a woman to replace O'Connor - Maura Corrigan is well qualified.

If they voted for confirmation of Judge Bork merely for political posturing purposes, why would they have "adamantly opposed" him to begin with?

BTW, other than the handful of Repubs who voted against him, who were the ones adamantly opposed?

Thanks.

One thing we do know about Estrada is that he would send the dems off the deep end..

I don't know anything about Garza.

Bush always has said that he wanted judges like Scalia and Thomas, I'll take him at his word.

I'm repeating myself, but here's the CNN list of possible Bush picks: CNN' list of picks: Alberto Gonzales, and current Judges Luttig, Wilkinson, Alito, Garza.

Saw it. Nice map. I happen to live in one of red districts and my conservative credentials are very well in place. Thank you.

Great post. Yah, the "my way or no way" crowd does get tiresome. Throwing a tantrum and giving up never works.

LOL - most prescient post on this thread! The Fox News Alert "new information - we don't know anything new" is beyond tiresome.
