OAKLAND - A Texas Rangers pitcher accused of throwing a chair at an Oakland Athletics fan pleaded no contest this afternoon to misdemeanor assault, and will serve 30 days in jail, attend 26 weeks of anger management classes and serve three years of court-mandated probation.

Frank Francisco pleaded today to one count of misdemeanor assault for breaking the nose of Jennifer Bueno of Livermore after throwing the chair into the stands at a Sept. 13, 2004 A's game at MacAfee Coliseum.

Francisco threw the chair after several of his teammates were heckled by and later confronted Bueno's husband, Craig Bueno.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Bueno and another fan have sued the Texas Rangers, Francisco and several of his teammates over injuries they say were caused by the chair-throwing incident.

Wanna know why Francisco threw the chair?

One of the Rangers' relievers' wives had miscarried three weeks before.

Craig Bueno, the guy in the blue suit, would yell "Stillborn, stillborn," every time the pitcher got up to warm up.

Classy, huh?

The nose patch is too small - we can still see her.

Remember, there are two sides to every story. This was a response to vulgar, personal attacks on the Ranger players including the bitch's husband bringing up personal issues of another player's loss of a baby.

Just saw Sinkspur's post and wanted to correct mine.

And if the bum said the same thing in a bar and got smashed with a chair, the result would be the same. Don't get me wrong...I'm not excusing the idiot who started it.

Anyone got a better picture of that Jack @ss that yelled stillborn? His face needs to be put out in the spotlight a little more. Maybe make his life a little rougher. What an @ss!
