DITTO!!!! Let the f'in French take care of this problem; maybe the Luxembourgers and Belgians can also help out..... Hell, why doesn't Coffee ask the EU to send in their...what's it called....the European Strike Force.

Naturally those European countries with troops on the ground in Iraq are exempt. However, for the rest of them...they should be able to handle Haiti....ok, who am I kidding...no they couldn't. ;)

"We want scarier troops"

What the U.N. pukes are finally acknowledging --- is that some folks "need killing", and their U.N. forces are too busy raping the children, or packing each others fudge and too undisciplined to be considered a RIGHTEOUS Military Force..

I hear tell there are some bad asses in Venezuela, North Korea, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Syria, Sudan, Pakistan, etc, etc.... that can kick the shit out of women and children and cut the heads off bound prisoners..

CALL THOSE BASTARDS TO HELP HAITI...

The senior NCO on the investigating committee was an old buddy of mine. He told me later that the Haitian cops had been used to extortion and all sorts of general bullying. Then they foolishly threatened the Marines. There were no speeches, no negotiations, no encounter sessions, no position statements, no appeals to reason, Just direct and overwhelming action. And the lesson was learned. That was the effective end of the gangs that were running the streets in Cap Hatien.

If only that lesson was applied more consistantly and widely publized then there would be far fewer incidents throughout the world.

Happy 4th Airborne.

Mr. Annan can send himself.

There must not be any money there.

If memory serves, Haiti was screwed up in the first place by the French. Should they not be the ones to fix it? Besides, how hard can it be with 6,500 troops to clean up a problem with machete-wielders in a tiny nation like Haiti? Any nation's military that cannot do that has no business calling itself a military.

Haiti is a former french colony, it is a country that maintains strong social and economic ties to Paris. Therefore, why would it fall onto the US to send troops there and not our "friends" in France? The french have a garrison of 5,000 soldiers in Martinique who should be ready and able to help the situation in Haiti. So Kofi, give your fellow anti-American buddy Jacque a call, I'm sure he'll help (LOL).

No there probably isn't. Haiti is going to continue having unrest. We cannot police the whole world. Maybe Annan ought to sen himself.

Sounds like the U.N. has itself a quagmire.

I think we should petition the U.N. for an exit strategy...

consider sending troops to Haiti to support a U.N. peacekeeping mission beset by mounting armed challenges to its authority, according to senior U.N. officials.

I would have an armed challenge as well if if UN bastards were raping my woman and molesting my children more power to those being pillaged by the U.N. !
