"We want scarier troops."
OK. So why are they asking the French & Canadians?

I'd tell Mr. Anan what he can do with his request.
We've done enough with Haiti...the people refuse to take charge of their own lives. Tough.

"scarier troops"
Send in the Koreans or the Japanese.

I hope this administration tells U.N. to pound sand. 6500 U.N. troops and they can't do anything against a poor machete wielding populace. Pathetic.

We want scarier troops OMG! They really said this? What a bizarre thing to say!

With 6,500 Blue Helmets there now, why do they need us?

Mr. Annan can send himself. We've got bigger problems to deal with. He is so useless.

Not a soldier should be sent there. It was wasteful clintonian idiocy to begin with and it should not be continued or resumed. And if they want someone scary, let them take both Bill and Hillary.

Didn't Coffee cut & run when we needed him in Iraq?
To: No Longer Free State
No I think we need more time to consult with our allies. We wouldn't want to rush to war now would we?

Say there, it's disarming when French is spoken by a Canadian with a lisp, don't you think?
Now that's scary.

No. Send your own UN troops. We're busy, and we don't like you.

Why? Our occupation was a failure. It's just a quagmire.
Besides, why would the UN want to send "Nazis" to Haiti?
To: No Longer Free State
Kofi Annan asked the United States this week to consider sending troops to Haiti to support a U.N. peacekeeping mission beset by mounting armed challenges to its authority, according to senior U.N. officials. What?! Without the US there to prop it up the UN peacekeeping force lacks credibility? I'm shocked!! A little more of this and the UN might start to look irrelevant.
To: No Longer Free State
GO TO HELL Annan... We will be your police force when you come clean, resign, and offer up to prosecution all those crooked sniveling whining anti-american corrupt sycophants that helped you bilk the UN out of funds designated for aid and charity... not your pocket.
GET THE U.N. OUT OF THE U.S. AND THE U.S OUT OF THE U.N.
