That's some "extra credit" question.

A chemistry teacher ...gave passing grades to two failing students who stole and burned her car so she could collect insurance money. Hey Mom! Guess what lesson I learned in school today!

Damn. I could have used a chemistry teacher like that back when I was in high school.

Fire is a chemical reaction, though. It's not like the assignment was off-subject ;-)

Aldine Independent School District officials said Fox remained employed while they waited to see the fire marshal's report.
Not even suspended with pay yet.

Makes you wonder why teachers & profs get such high ratings for "honesty" in occasional opinion polls....

Some of them actually are, but this one is plain nuts, actually maybe salted nuts, maybe chocolate-covered,...

Well, -- as a teacher myself -- I appreciate your point. But there aren't many CONSERVATIVES on high school or college campuses (and as a result, very few honest people in teaching), as you know...

Houston Chronicle previously carried the story with a picture of the young black female teacher (pretty smile but looked a little overweight). This link only gives the text story in the Houston Chronicle:

She "needed" the money. I guess her class was not up to some kind of exotic explosion as their chemistry class final.
She appears to be a victim of easy credit.

Got your point:) Nice to see a colleague. Yes, I do see some that are not honest (I see many that are), but it has nothing to do with politics, more with some being busybodies and old bitties:).

Yes, there are many honest democrats around; I'm just being mean.
Unfortunately, the immoral ones pollute the well for the rest - since they tend to be the most "vocal" on any campus.
