Racist Mexican Stamps Stir Outrage

MEXICO CITY — The Mexican government has issued postage stamps depicting an exaggerated black cartoon character known as Memin Pinguin (search), just weeks after remarks by President Vicente Fox (search) angered U.S. blacks. The series of five stamps released Wednesday depicts a hapless boy drawn with exaggerated features, thick lips and wide-open eyes. His appearance, speech and mannerisms are the subject of kidding by white characters in the comic book, which started in the 1940s and is still published in Mexico. Activists criticized the stamps as offensive, though officials denied it. "One would hope the Mexican government would be a little more careful and avoid continually opening wounds," said Sergio Penalosa, an activist in Mexico's small black community on the southern Pacific coast. "But we've learned to expect anything from this government, just anything," Penalosa said. In May, Fox riled many by saying Mexican migrants take jobs in the United States that "not even blacks" want. Fox later expressed regret for any offense the remarks may have caused, but insisted his comments had been misinterpreted. Carlos Caballero, assistant marketing director for the Mexican Postal Service, said the new stamps are not offensive, nor were they intended to be.

This is just the break we needed in the struggle against illegal aliens. If there's one force in this world more powerful than the need of the poor to make money, it's the force of political correctness. The gods of political correctness will unleash a mighty wind of reprobation that will smite the invaders from the South. Let it be so.

We could always issue this on a stamp.

That can't be true. Only the American Minutemen and their supporters are racist. Mexico is a haven of diversity, tolerance, and virtue. (gag!) (/sarcasm).

I wonder if Amos and Andy is big in Mayheeco?

Of course liberals will be outraged unless it makes fun of a black conservative female like Condi Rice.

Do they have on of ol'Memin Pinguin getting chased around a cactus by Speedy Gonzales or getting robbed by the Frito Bandito?

Not likely.

The free traitors will swallow anything if it helps keep the borders open and the flow of criminal aliens moving.

After all, they're just being the racists that Americans aren't willing to be.

I found a couple of pictorial examples of R. Crumb's Angelfood McSpade, but I demured.

The agressive racism of the Mexicans toward American Blacks is one of our only hopes that this madness may fail. May actually bring American Blacks and Whites together as Blacks remember what REAL racism is.

Fixed your typo:

After all, they're just being the racists that Americans aren't willing allowed to be.

Hmmm. I don't think that's any better.
