What's with the guy in the background with the fairy pose? And, all of these assclowns look a bit long in the tooth to be students.

So much pixel information has been squeezed out of the original image, everything is fuzzy.

Is it not logical to expect in a story like this a more contemporary photograph of the dead-man walking?

Look at #42 - the "halo" seems to be caused by something out of focus in the background.

Here's a photo from CBS' archives. Besides, Photoshop was not invented back then. One could take of photo of Henry Ford and photoshop it. However, the archive photo you provided gives legitimacy to the photo.

And who was it, pray tell, who finally put down those 1979 revolutionaries who caused us so much grief?
Why it was our good friend and former ally, Saddam Hussein!

Go to cbsnews and search the archives for iran hostage crisis. It's one of the top hits. It's legit. That halo thing can happen with low res jpegs.

The easiest solution is to look for the original photo from an archived source.
Try this link below and check out that photo

To: b4its2late
yeah...I see that but,
strangely enough there seems to be "haloing" around the head in the clearer image as well.

That "halo" is from compression artifact, not image tampering.

Yes but most photoshop players rarely get color temperature, shadows and head size correct at the same time.
