This really disturbs me (vanity)

Clinto said in Houston former First Lady Barbara Bush "announced us. And she said she has started to call me son. I told the Republicans there, I said don't worry, every family has one, you know, the black sheep. I told them, this just shows you the lengths the Bushes would go to get another president in the family. I wish I could get them to adopt Hillary."

The President can't even get his U.N. Ambassador confirmed and you say they can't hurt him politically

I'm sure that Walker is sitting in the White House right wondering how bad it is going to hurt him politically if he does not get hid UN Ambassador confirmed. I can see him pacing back and forth saying to Laura ... "If I can't get this guy confirmed it is going to squash my chance of becoming the Baseball Commissioner."

"Their only mutual interest is fudging on their golf score cards. :-)"

Anyone who believes this is their only mutual interest has been hiding their head in the sand since about 1990. Much more here than meets the eye and the original posters concerns should be taken seriously.

Get the new Hillary book, it has lots of good background on Hillary and her ambitions.

Hillary Rodham is a closet liberal feminist 100% and has to ride the coattails of a man to get to where she is today.

She is so driven that she would compromise the real Hillary Rodham for power.

How can the world ever hear about Jesus if we don't get close to them?

Be real.

Testimony to the proposition that we should be looking for a Third Party political outsider in 2008

Testimony that we need to realize that we have to start a second party. Let's realize that we do not have a two party system but a one-party system with two ugly heads. The only reason that these jokers keep playing this two party bad act is because they know that if we ever figure out that there is only one party we may go out and form the second.

OH! And the Bushes are stupid and do not realize this.

You called them stupid. I didn’t.

I’m saying the Bushes are genuinely good people, and that they have nothing to gain from this friendship.

Go twist something else out of context, so you can become offended all over again.

It's politics as usual for the elites.

Give the public and media a good show then everyone shows up for drinks and laughs.

I stand corrected. The Bushes are such nice people that they will, out of the kindness of their hearts, help people gain power who have a totally different idealogy. YEAH! And the voters in America voted for Clinton out of the kindness of their hearts, wanting nothing in return. You may not have used the word "stupid", but it sure sounded like stupid to me.

darn it, running out of catchphrases for reasons to keep voting Republican....

The place we need to concentrate is within the Party. Stronger conservatives need to be chosen in the primaries, and the country club dinosaurs need to be weeded out.

The other area we need to attack is big city and county government; Republican party leaders are ceding these fights over to the Dem machines far to easily, and that is where the Dem vote stealing apparatus lies. If it wasn't for the Dem fraud machines in Seattle, Milwaukee, Chicago, and Philly, the 2004 election would have been a tidal wave.

Finally, we need to start grooming some new leadership. The Dems have Obama, Ford Jr. and such on their fast track; who is being pushed by the Party? If you want a conservative future, now is the time to bring up the public profile of the next generation, because the CC Republicans are pushing the Schwarzenegger/Giuliani/McCain types while deriding the Tancredo/McClintock types.

If you want the Party to stop drifting Left, start pushing it Right.

Exactly. But we also need to get those that complain for four years about who they voted for only to go in and vote for the same party to quit doing it. It's not changing a single thing. Just finally own up to the fact that the Republican party is just another facet of liberalism.

>>just don't mean the same thing to the elite as they might to you or me<<

A truer statement was never written. I continue to believe that even republicans will see that we have an elite class that runs the show. They support each others efforts, whether in politics, business, selling books, etc. You need to take a close look at people you support.

It seems that the agenda from the executive branch has strikingly similar for the past 16 years........

Bigger and more intrusive government and continued massive growth in spending.

Birds of a feather...................

darn it, running out of catchphrases for reasons to keep voting Republican....

Isn't that the definition of insanity?

Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results?

Don't know about y'all, but I'm just about DONE with the (so-called) CONSERVATIVE party!

The Bushs are so magnanimous that they just want a friend, and the Clintons are evil users. Are you gullible or what? Put this situation into your life. Would you invite someone of his ilk into your vacation? They are not trying to save his soul. They are not helping out a down and out person, they are hob-nobbing with an equal. Either all the things said about the Clintons are untrue, or the Bushs can relate to those things. IOW there is very little difference between them on a personal level. Since I know Clinton is a low-life scum sucking pig, that makes anyone with Bush as a last name, suspect in my eyes.

No. Testimony to the axiom "keep thine enemies close". They are both former presidents, and have southern roots.....we will never know them on a personal level, and can never know what those men had to endure while they were responsible for the fate of the free world.I think they might have a common bond that draws them together.
Third party is not the way to go......unless you want to see Bush '41 visiting Billy in Hillary's white house.

Don't worry. I haven't voted for a Republican candidate for awhile. I usually vote 3rd party or leave it blank
