Don't let the MSM or e-mail friends get away with believing the Democrat's absolute lies that Saddam didn't have a relationship with AQ.

Said Sen. Christopher Dodd, D-Conn.: "The president needs to do more of what he did last evening. This is a beginning."

I'll agree with old 'Sandwich' Dodd here - Bush could do more PR selling of his position.

Beyond their criticism, Some Democrats said they thought Bush strengthened his credibility. "I think he told the American people why it's important," said Biden.

Said Sen. Christopher Dodd, D-Conn.: "The president needs to do more of what he did last evening. This is a beginning."

With such an overwhelmingly negative article, I wonder why the reporter even bothered to include these last two sentences.

How can one discuss the Iraq War removed from the events of September 11th? It would be like justifying the Normandy invasion in the absence of Pearl Harbor!

Typical democrats. Criticize our military and offer nothing in exchange. Half the dems say pull out all troops now, the other half says send more. Which is it, Dingy Harry?

The Democrats are pussies.

Their idea of defending the US is to go out and sing on the Capitol steps. Now THAT will really scare a terrorist!

President Bush was very clear in his speech yesterday that Iraq is the center front on terror, and all the islamic terrorists including Al-Qaeda, are coming to Iraq to fight us, and that is why we are in Iraq for. To fight, kill, capture, and defeat the terrorists right there in Iraq instead of fighting them in our cities. Fight them and defeat in the Middle East instead of the Midwest, this is the simplest but the most brilliant strategy. This is the clearest of connections between 9-11, the war on terror in general, and the war in Iraq in particular. Now either the liberals are too stupid to still not understand this after President Bush made it very clear yesterday and has been talking about it for over two years, or they do understand it but they are just traitors who are undermining the war effort. I will go with the latter but this does not mean that liberals are not very stupid, they are.

Interesting how the Dems are so hot to send more troops over there. Get those world opinions flared up against us, get those statistics up too. Maybe we'll need a draft, eh? Then they'd really have a gripe.
Yeah, that's the ticket. Send more troops into the "grotesque mistake," and then impeach GWB for it.

Screw the damn dems. They want nothing good to happen in the USA while the Bush man is president. They want us to lose the war, have a depression, lose our civil rights etc. just so they can get back in power.

FYI y'all.

I emailed President Bush about 2 weeks ago and begged him to come out swinging against all the critics of the Iraq battle in the War on Terror, and to let the soldiers know he is still strong behind them, as are the American people, and to shore up the weak-kneed Americans among us. I told him so many of us who support him and our military were feeling like we weren't getting the back-up of his administration as we fight the battle within at home.

I am composing an email now thanking him for such a good speech, and for following my advice, and that this time I would wave my consulting fee, but the next time...

lololol

House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi accused Bush of demonstrating a willingness "exploit the sacred ground of 9/11, knowing that there is no connection between 9/11 and the war in Iraq."

I am really getting tired of this analogy which they keep trotting out and repeating as if there were some rationale in it.

If we used this same logic during WWII, the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor would never have resulted in us carrying the war to all the Axis Powers and invading Europe.

But then, genuine historical parallels have never been the strong suit of Liberals. Whining, deception and undercutting our war effort is.

It must really suck to be a Democrat these days. Every time they do or say something it's like watching a second lieutenant on his first day at the .45 range.

Americans have many questions tonight. Americans are asking: Who attacked our country? The evidence we have gathered all points to a collection of loosely affiliated terrorist organizations known as al Qaeda. They are the same murderers indicted for bombing American embassies in Tanzania and Kenya, and responsible for bombing the USS Cole.

Al Qaeda is to terror what the Mafia is to crime. But its goal is not making money; its gaol is remaking the world-and imposing its radical beliefs on people everywhere.
President George W. Bush, Address to a joint session of Congress, September 20,2001

Excerpt with emphasis added.
