With Tuesday’s attacks, Abu Musab Zarqawi, a Jordanian militant with ties to al-Qaida, is now blamed for more than 700 terrorist killings in Iraq.
But NBC News has learned that long before the war the Bush administration had several chances to wipe out his terrorist operation and perhaps kill Zarqawi himself — but never pulled the trigger.

As an ardent supporter of the WOT; this article makes me really question the motives of the Bush Administration. They threw away a chance to kill Zarqawi, a key Al-Qaeda figure,just to make their case for war better. Even though this article is old it really strikes a chord in me.

The Democrat Convention in Boston? Wasn't Zarqawi one of their candidates? You'd think so from their rhetoric.
If we every capture Zarqawi, the Democrats will make him a Super Delegate at their 2008 convention. Hey's their guy and they are his hope.
