Allegan County Republican Party Resolution

In light of Senator Dick Durbin’s comments about the US military and America, the Allegan County Republican Party has become very concerned with the Democratic Caucus and their lack of support of American armed forces and our Constitution. Senator Durbin is the second highest ranking Democrat in the Senate. As the Assistant Minority Leader, better known as the Democratic Whip, Senator Durbin has a responsibility to support and defend the Constitution from all enemies, both foreign and domestic. Senator Dick Durbin referred to American armed forces on the Senate floor comparing the actions of American soldiers at Guantanamo Bay to Nazis, Soviet gulags and Khmer Rouge leader Pol Pot. Comments such as these can embolden our enemies and are a disservice to our troops. Treason from within is the terrorist’s best weapon and they have the ultimate weapon in the Democratic Caucus. Aiding and abetting the enemies of America are treasonous and will compromise our liberties afforded by the US Constitution. The Allegan County Republican Party demand an apology both to the our troops and the American people and that Senator Durbin resign from the United States Senate in order to restore dignity to that prestigious body.

Good question. What would a whole planeload of "American" "liberals" in the same circumstance do? Probably nothing.

They'd try to "dialogue" with the "insurgants" or poor misunderstood murdering terrorist scum. They might try and understand their "feelings" or serve them tea or Perrier.

Nothing, absolutely nothing. All talk, endless talk and never any action. They wouldn't want to hurt their feelings or stereotype them.

Good resolution. Will it happen?

Are there EVER any consequences for treason in this world or country now?

Gulag of the Week. Heh. Great line.

Clymers all. Don't we have laws to prosecute those who violate their oath of office? Isn't an oath a contract?

Again, what's the clymer's penalty? Maybe he should just resign in disgrace and leave the country while he's ahead.

But then, let him stay and bray. A perfect posterboy for the criminal enterprise party. Let him be the eternal turd floating in the dem's toilet bowl.

Well, if my stupid neighbor said it during our nightly bull session, I would just kick his @ss on the spot.

But when a United States Senator stands in the well of the Senate and makes the comment directly to the television camera for broadcast around the world, all the while fully aware that his comments are on the congressional record, then yes, I fully support arresting him immediately and charging him with treason.

Isn't that how it's supposed to work??

Dirtbag Durbin needs to apologize on the Senate floor.

I'd say he needs to resign there, as well.

"I sincerely regret IF what I said ............"

I want to see him expelled for treason.

And that they [the public] don't and won't forgive Durbin either!

Oh yes, they will. Guaranteed. IL voters will reelect him in a landslide, because I think they agree with him.

Well at least you are consistent. Too many people throw around the treason tag without thinking what it means.

Durbin's rant was treasonous in the extreme. He owes it to each and every brave and gallant, young man and woman, serving in the uniform of America's Armed forces around this world, putting themselves in harms way, protecting the rights of such scum as Durbin to spew their enemy abeting garbage under the pretense of excercising their first amendment rights, to just slither away. Find a place under a rock, Senator.

The only way Durbin can redeem himself is by taking a leave from the US Senate, for as long as it takes for him to crawl on his stinking, scum sucking, flabby liberal belly and kiss the combatboots of every single Military member Serving this country. Then Resign your Senate seat Durbin, and forfeit any benefits you may feel you have coming to you.
Be thankful that we live in a time when traitors are spared the fate they so thoroughly deserve.

You're absolutely correct, it is a most heinous crime and accusing one of such should not be taken lightly.

Premeditation and malicious intent are the prime discriminators which allow me to level the charge at Durbin with such certainty.

However, not being a duly sworn officer of the law, my charge is really nothing more than my opinion. But I still think he stinks.
