Well, if my stupid neighbor said it during our nightly bull session, I would just kick his @ss on the spot. But when a United States Senator stands in the well of the Senate and makes the comment directly to the television camera for broadcast around the world, all the while fully aware that his comments are on the congressional record, then yes, I fully support arresting him immediately and charging him with treason. Isn't that how it's supposed to work??

You're absolutely correct, it is a most heinous crime and accusing one of such should not be taken lightly.

Premeditation and malicious intent are the prime discriminators which allow me to level the charge at Durbin with such certainty.

However, not being a duly sworn officer of the law, my charge is really nothing more than my opinion. But I still think he stinks.
