Amnesty International said U.S. authorities arrested a Saudi on charges of attempting to assassinate President George W. Bush.
The Saudi daily al-Watan Monday quoted Sharon Craytobel, Amnesty International researcher in North America, as saying the human rights watchdog is concerned about the fate of the Saudi man, who is a naturalized U.S. citizen.
"The U.S. government included the name of the Saudi on a list of wanted people after he made statements during a visit to Saudi Arabia which were considered as terrorist inspired," Craytobel said.
She said the suspect, who was not identified, will be tried soon in the U.S. on charges of trying to kill Bush.

Democrats will send in an army of lawyers to defend the scumbag.
Hey Amnesty: Up yours!
Hang him high.
Hang 'em High ~ Bump!
I am sure Ramsey Clark has already volunteered to defend him.
"'Amnesty International is deeply concerned about the imprisonment conditions and the trial of the suspect,' she said."
Oh, Brother. Rushing to aid the enemy as usual, I see. *Rolleyes*
Appears that Amnesty is very disappointed that this guy wasn't able to complete his mission. Perhaps they are equally disturbed that they can't get a refund on their money.
No surprise AI is jumping on this - this guy is as close to a "political prisoner" that they can find in the U.S.
Just think if they put as much zeal into speaking out against North Korea, Iran, Cuba, etc. and all their oppressed people. Oh wait, those are dictatorships where no human rights exist to begin with. Sorry ;)
They won't release his name because he is a big democrat donor, and no doubt, Hitlery supporter.
Do you have a mailing address where I can send some feces for you to eat?

The Saudis are not our friends. Even if Bush holds hand with them, they'll continue what they started on 9/11.
If the Fraudis are our friends, then submarines have sun porches.
You've got that right. I believe I read somewhere that the Saud family had put bombs under their oil fields and told the Americans Presidents if they were betrayed like Carter betrayed the Shah of Iran, they'd blow up the fields before they coould be taken. Hence, Bush being friendly with them, maybe.
as saying the human rights watchdog is concerned about the fate of the Saudi man
