I think his comment was akin to Sen. Lott's comment to Stron Thurmond, just a bit if politeness to the persons onstage with him. But Graham should have known the reaction he'd receive.

I think allowing the Clintons to use him for publicity was an atrocious move. How can a godly man even shake hands with a dirtbag like Clinton? Who knows where that hand has been?
But people are forgetting that Graham's comment was a two-part quip. Maybe he thinks Hillary running the country is just as unlikely as Bill becoming an evangelist.
To: Carl/NewsMax
He then quipped that the former president should become an evangelist and allow "his wife to run the country." I could see Clinton as an evangelist along the lines of Jim Bakker, Jimmy Swaggart and Oral "God has taken me hostage" Roberts.

I must admit to being dismayed at the display and at Mr. Graham's comments.
It is hard for me to imagine that if Billy Graham where fully cognizant of the Clinton's behavior, and what they stand for, he would have suggested she be president.
I was troubled that the Graham ministry allowed the Clinton's to obtain this political photo op bonanza.
I would like to hear some follow up comments from Franklin Graham.

This is mind blowing. The Conservative movement; 2 steps forward, shoot ourselves in the foot, limp 3 steps back.

Rev. Graham returned the compliment, calling Mr. and Mrs. Clinton "wonderful friends" and "a great couple." He then quipped that the former president should become an evangelist and allow "his wife to run the country."Were marbles falling out of his pant legs while he was saying all this?

No surprise. The Clintons have a long history of using people to advance their political agenda. This is clearly a move to make people think that Her Heinous has got that old time religion and is in tune with the red states. What's next for her, being the keynote speaker at the NRA convention?

"----- A great couple" For What??
To steal the silver ware and the linens from the white house? To plunder a savings and loan? To lie rape and pilage? Yeah - right a great couple.

NOW will you all believe that Billy Graham is a 33rd degree Mason? That he has been preaching a water-down "anything goes" gospel for years? That he is NOT what he appears to be?
Read. Research. Don't trust, but verify.

Graham has shown himself as a political puppet. A rapist, lying, cheating, murderer like Clinton should not be given the stage to further his power. True we are sinners but that doesnt mean we should discern the pigs from the sheep.

I always held Mr. Graham in high regards, but after the stunt he pulled with the SHE-DEVIL, I'll never see him in that light again. My hubby was right, NEVER ever put your eyes on men, but on God alone, because men will let you down and God won't!! I was extremely disappointed in Billy Graham endorsing the SHE-DEVIL for prez! I know, he didn't exactly say it, but we know what the SHE-DEVIL will do with that little clip!

Seems everyone here wants to blame an aged man who has gone mushy in the head. The real scandal is those who used him as a political prop. Shame on them for taking advantage of this old man for their own ends.
