He may have been a brat too, but typically, 11 year old kids don't hang out with 5 and 6 year olds. That's a sign something was wrong with him.
No, the 11 year-old had 'development problems', whatever that means. We know he was playing with very much younger kids and that this wasn't unusual for him. Cars are magnets for boys of all ages, you'd think that would have been one of the first places they'd have checked. The troubling question is why nobody opened that trunk (experienced cops),once they realized the kids were actually missing. I guess it was so frantic, everybody panicking and the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing. Still.
