ISLAM creates strife, murder and never created a democratic society, Saudi's are allowed to kill practicing christians and jews in there country, what the hell do they think The Iraqi Military is going to rid the insurgents and terrorists? we cannot even control our own borders here in the USA but somehow the Iraqi Military will secure there borders from terrorists? give me a break, this war has gone weary because we have not fought to win and leave.

Radical Islam has been developing for decades. The various terrorist groups pretty much had a free run until 9/11. It'll take a long time to win this war. Not only do we have to defeat the enemy, but we also have to keep it from becoming a global conflagration.

Iraq has got to clean up Iraq's own mess- the problem is that they do not have the resources to do that at this point.
We need to help the Iraqis who have the passion and drive to take back their country and be responsible for it its upkeep.
That way they feel they earned it- they fight to keep it AND it was not handed to them ( they do have pride). IT lets the Iraqs save face- blows the libs out of the water and everyone is happy. We have a working relationship established- Terrorism is on the run and American lives are sparred.
There is a reason why we have the best military in the entire world- these guys know what they are doing- they are not idiots.
Everyone in their right mind knows we could have a short term win and blow many of the Iraqis and the mid-east off the face of the earth.
But that is the stupid thing to do- and shows a lack of a desire to win for the long term good of this country.

Saddams army was defeated and he was captured. Everyone knew his supporters would go to ground. Everyone also knew that every terr in the region would make their way to Iraq.
