Dr. Rudolf Diesel designed and created the "diesel " engine, it run on peanut oil. The only crap going in your engine is petro products! Don't get me wrong. I would have no problems buying biodiesel if as long as it doesn't have the possibility of coagulating in my fuel lines or injectors. However, with an engine that was a 5K option, I wouldn't go the route of the guy in the article. Heck, even running my engine on "farm diesel" will void the warranty.

"Coagulate" is not a common word used in speaking about fuel.
Regular pump diesel will gell up in cold temperatures. The WVO(waste vegetable oil) he is using can be just as "clean" as what you put in your tank. All depends on his filering system.
I have had 3 diesel pickups that went over 300,000 so warranties are no of much concern to me. Gelling has been common problem.
Bio diesel will clean your system out of the garbage petro diesel left. Especially if your run the blends like B85. Which has been blended with 15% petro products. As far as diesel gos the stuff you buy at the pump really is not a "clean" product.
