"Coagulate" is not a common word used in speaking about fuel.
Regular pump diesel will gell up in cold temperatures. The WVO(waste vegetable oil) he is using can be just as "clean" as what you put in your tank. All depends on his filering system.
I have had 3 diesel pickups that went over 300,000 so warranties are no of much concern to me. Gelling has been common problem.
Bio diesel will clean your system out of the garbage petro diesel left. Especially if your run the blends like B85. Which has been blended with 15% petro products. As far as diesel gos the stuff you buy at the pump really is not a "clean" product.

Back in my trucking days I used common alcohol in my diesel fuel to thin it to prevent gelling. I didn't have heated tanks but I never had a problem in 8 years of running I-80 & 90 from sea to shinning sea.
Now mountinside chain inspection stations were a different story. :-)
So reading about Bio-diesel is encouraging as I can get an extra gallon of fuel after I fry up a couple hundred chicken wings. It's a win, win, situation!! :-)
Burp.. oops excuse me.
