Too true. Problem is most all who are equipped to be in Congress have joined the system of furthering themselves above the constitution and the people of the United States.

Scripture says that it is God who puts people in power or allows them to be in positions of authority.

"Is anything too hard for God?" Our best action is to turn to God: as long as we as a nation are into all the current lifestyles and licentiousness, ignoring the word of God for our lives, we are in rebellion to God in our nation.

So far we in America have been richly blessed. The result of our turning away from Him will be His allowing the consequences of our actions, by withdrawing his hand of blessing and protection.

A favorite scripture of mine and in line with your words.

IMHO, part of "His people" turning to God is "us" standing up for what is right, opening our mouths so His words can fill them, and then being involved.

He died on the cross for us once. He said it would be the last time He does it. So, anything that happens is up to us, the people, permiting or preventing it to occur.
