This would be even funnier if:
Democrats hadn't forced the Republican majority to an illusion of a vaguely-worded compromise over judge appointments;
Byrd being a Klan organizer and leader (what, Grand Poobah or something?) made evan a fraction as much of a difference as Lott's comments about Thurmond;
Our borders were actually secure;
Clinton would just go away;
and other events, ad nauseum.
