No site can be viewed as completely safe anymore... when we had the nasty rash of highjackers last year on both home pc's:

we had only visited mainline webpages and my wife had just downloaded "a bunch of free stuff, and games, for her pocket PC..."

267 infections, as I recall. Ironically, a websearch for cures let me to ( you guessed it! ) a pure porn site, who, besides all the neeked folks screwing, had links to SWI forums:

Lyric sites are really bad. I am a gigging musician, and beleve me, my pc needs an enema after I update my lyrics book.

One of those totally crashed my last computer. The new one is running AdSubtract and it works very well. I still am paranoid about those lyric sites tho.
