Intense. Angry. Unreasonably angry. Circles under his eyes. Ritalin is a street drug?

Anderson COoper was quite shocked at this interview and thought he was very disrespectful to Lauer.

I am sorry I missed it. Seeing these two POS going head to head should have been entertaining.

Dang, just missed it, (was arguing with an idiot on another thread) but caught Paula saying
"Now I want to see his movie EVEN MORE!"

This is GOOD publicity. GOOD, I tell you!!! (/MSM)

The bigshots are obviously afraid that Tom will hurt this year's already lagging movie receipts by his stunts.

Gawd, Cooper looks like such a little weenie...

I bet it will be on other MSNBC shows tonight; they've been running it all day long.

I just can't believe how many FReepers watch The Today Show and other similar trash...why don't you all donate directly to the DNC while you're at it?

Don't you understand the MSM (thus, their adverti$ing revenue) is the Dems main source of power? We need to shut it down, not support it.

"You don't know the history of psychiatry. I do," Cruise said.

Cruise sounds like HE could use a little psychiatric help.

Well, in his favor, he at least got one thing right; you should try to keep yourself free of drugs, exercise, and eat properly.

Is it just me or is Scientology really scary? Foxnews had a story a couple of days ago on how Tom Cruise auditioned several actresses for costarring in one of his movies. Presumably, he talked with them for two hours about Scientology and then invited them to dinner with Scientology 'priests'. Apparently Scarlett Johansson bolted, but Katie Holmes was willing to stay.

A similar story (can't seem to find the original). I guess she believes in space aliens planting souls in volcanoes now.

Keep it up Tom You're giving Scientology an even worse name.
If he's never cared about what other people think or what other people say, then he should keep his nose out of what other people do in their private lives (Brooke Sheilds). She obviously does not share his beliefs, therefore her life's choices are none of his effen business.

The rumor is the whole love fest/wedding crap is a publicity stunt. It's been reported that his "people" interviewed 5 actresses before one took the bait.

"He has Scientology friends and thinks we rely too much on drugs."

True. I believe that we certainly shouldn't be quick to give Ritalin to kids. However, *some* psychiatric disorders are indeed caused by chemical imbalances. Not all, of course, but some. If medication or psychiatricy can truly help, don't you think it should be worth a try?

BTW: Someone should tell Hannity that Scientology isn't exactly a bed of roses. Has he ever heard of Lisa McPherson, for example?

What about Xenu?

Actually, the Xenu story isn't told to a Scientologist until they reach the level known as Operating Thetan III, or OT III. Most Scientologists probably never know about that, and in fact those who do are not allowed to tell anyone who isn't a OT III.

"Eyes Wide Shut" was Stanley Kubrick's last film, so it is hard to fault Cruise for wanting to star in it. I suppose the film was sort of soft core porn, but it was still interesting.

The main problem with the film was Cruise's wooden acting. He was just not up to the role -- even Nicole Kidman acted him off the screen.

I cannot believe that he is the biggest film star in the world. Why should he be? Because he is "cute"? Bleaugh. He has all the masculinity of Elijah Wood.

Scientology is a little strange. But no matter what his background, he's got some valid points about the whole psychiatry field. BTW, knew a woman who was dating a pschiatrist. The guy was a letcherous nutcase. They were supposed to move in together, and he flipped out and had a supposed manic episode, where he stripped nude and washed his car and covered it in stickers. When she took him in to get him committed, he suddenly snapped out of it. :oP

I know. Scarlett Johannson was the first possible victim, and Tom supposedly also looked at Kate Bosworth and Jessica Alba and maybe also at Lindsay Lohan.
