ORANJESTAD, Aruba For the first time, Aruban authorities on Friday detailed their suspicions in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway (search), saying they believe the Alabama teen was murdered.
Joran van der Sloot (search) and his friends Deepak and Satish Kalpoe are being held under suspicion of murder and kidnapping as well as being an accessory to murder.

His father is studying to be a judge. Upper middle class is different than rich. I'm not sure what the cost of the school is, I haven't seen any figures. Have you?
Then you just weren't watching. They interviewed the mothers several time and showed pictures of the search efforts, yesterday and today. Plenty of news alerts. The kids were only missing two days.
Someone earlier mentioned very little coverage on this, too so I guess it isn't just me.
"But I thought the mom said her husband was sound asleep? Who knows?"
I thought Mom was in Holland that night. She doesn't know what daddy was doing.
Seems like the mom is the gullible type that believes whatever the husband and son tell her.
good night all.....get some sleep!!!!!!
G'night cherry!
TV was a virtual blank on the children for a long time. You had to be lucky to be in the room at the right time to catch the short sound bites on it. It was all Aruba and Carl Rove.

I agree.
The only way justice will be served down there is to keep the spotlight on them.
How interesting! Maybe she never could move her face. I wasn't a Court TV watcher, so I only saw her in photographs.
Earlier reports mentioned a "sports car." I don't think that's an SUV or a Jeep--on the other hand, given language differences, maybe they just meant he drove "a" car FAST.
I remember that, and other really serious and stupid errors when she was commenting on the case. I know NG has some fans here, but I'm not one.
Did they ever say how much money was withdrawn? If a small amount, maybe it didn't relate to the case at all.
However, I do disagree with you about how she might have died. What if all three wanted to take part in the rape, and she started to put up a fight, so they hit her with a rock or something? It doesn't have to be a drug. Women are sadly killed during rapes without drugs being involved at all.
I want to know how those kids wound up in the trunk of that car? Did one have a trunk key on them when they found them? Where was the responsible adult? Two of these kids were special needs. Very sad.
I saw quite a lot of coverage last night on Shep Smith, also on O'Reilly (John Gibson hosted last night). I suspect there will be more today as some of the facts start coming out. As to interviews with parents--sometimes, you know, they just say "no." If someone stuck a camera and a microphone in my face after such a tragedy, I'd slam my door in their sorry faces.
I don't know, but I have always wondered. She didn't even look like herself after that face lift. imo
Partly, I think it was because of the huge industrial accident in St. Louis. I didn't watch Gibson's show for the full hour, but every time I channel surfed, they were on that story. I think it might have been Aruba-free Teevee for at least that hour.
Early on the media was reporting the Honda as his, but it turned out that it belongs to Deepak Kalpoe. I think Geraldo may have misreported that. Amongst other things.
I don't understand why people complain about the news or a paricular thread. Don't want to read about a topic? Scroll on. Fox is not the only channel. In fact, you don't have to watch TV news at all.
Not that I know of, but supposedly there were two uses of the ATM and they were 45 minutes apart. At 3:00am and 3:45am.
It doesn't have to be a drug. Women are sadly killed during rapes without drugs being involved at all.
I didn't say she had to be drugged, in fact, I said she probably wasn't.
