Dear President Bush,
In the days following the 9/11 attacks, you movingly spoke of the unity of purpose emanating all across America. Now, Karl Rove, your top political aide, wants us to believe that you weren't telling the truth -- that Americans were offering "therapy and understanding to the attackers." You cannot remain silent as your most senior advisor purposely twists the truth about a great moment of American unity for political gain.
It isn't the first time Karl Rove has crossed the line. It needs to be the last. I call on you to thoroughly reject his cheap, divisive efforts to challenge the patriotism of your political opponents. It's time to fire Karl Rove.
Sincerely,
Your name here
Dear President Bush,
In the days following the 9/11 attacks, you movingly spoke of the unity of purpose emanating all across America. Now, Karl Rove, your top political aide, wants us to believe that Liberal Americans were offering "therapy and understanding to the attackers." You cannot remain silent as your most senior advisor purposely tells the truth about a great moment of American unity that Liberals have since used for crass political gain.
It isn't the first time Karl Rove has crossed the line. And it shouldn't be the last! I call on you to thoroughly endorse his honest, no-spin efforts to challenge the patriotism of your political opponents, as they should be challenged! It's time to encourage Karl Rove to keep up the good work!
Sincerely,
DTogo, Flyover Country USA
PS. Please secure our borders and encourage a vigorous enforcement of our immigration laws NOW!

Doesn't look like you get to edit the letter. I wouldn't do it.
It doesn't, but you can cut-n-paste the text into your own e-mail system (yahoo, hotmail, etc) and hit send! :)
Truth hurts. "Put some ice on it," JOhnKErry.com
Do we/I have your permission to send your version? I will change name of course, and location. I think I'll use Jesusland, USA. Whatya think?
Dear "Senator" Kerry,
G.F.Y.
clintonh8r
If this is true, then there is no doubt these people, (liberal left) are crazy.
YES! All pro-Rove FReepers have my permission to cut-n-paste my version (lurking DU Trolls can pound sand). I used my real name and address in the actual e-mail sent to the President, the "DTogo, Flyover Country USA" is just an example. :)
The acronym for the message back to Kaptain Ketchup should be GFYJFK.
Thanks DTogo! ;*)
I called the W.H. comment line. Told them their number is plastered on DU. That I'm supportive of the President and Mr. Rove. They asked if I agreed with Karl Rove and I told them absolutely. Also, told them about his petition and called SKerry a scumbag. I told her I'm not sure if you can tell the President I called Kerry a scumbag but that's what he is.
That is the most pathetic thing I have ever seen (his, not yours). How utterly childish. I am speechless.
Did you see Hillary on FNC with the others calling for Rove to resign? The real Hillary came out, gave that death stare to the wall. Completely different than the moderate 'let's work together-find common ground' Hillary of late.
Thanks, Karl, this was the highlight of the week. (Randi Rhodes is whining for 2 days about this on AA.)
I sent it along. :)
Bump
THIS IS GREAT! Rove is a genius. Karl Rove spoke of "liberals" not Democrats. Is this an admission by Kerry that he IS liberal? He would never admit it before. :) Surely Rove wasn't referring to Democrats because they call themselves centrists or progressive or mainstream, or something other than liberal.
This can't be on the up and up! It ABSOLUTELY is beyond comprehension. What on earth does it hope to accomplish?
Let's send DTogo's letter jf'nk. The truth and common sense will always prevail. Jeez!
All the Leftists can do is demand this or demand that. But they're in the minority. They are in no position to "demand" anything.
Sure, this litle ploy lets them take the heat off of Durbin, the lunatic. But it won't work. We know their stupid little game of moral intimidation.
