Dear President Bush,
In the days following the 9/11 attacks, you movingly spoke of the unity of purpose emanating all across America. Now, Karl Rove, your top political aide, wants us to believe that you weren't telling the truth -- that Americans were offering "therapy and understanding to the attackers." You cannot remain silent as your most senior advisor bravely tells it like it is in the face of extreme social pressure from Democratic lobby groups.
Please, keep up the good work and stand by your friends when they stand up for America. Stand with Karl Rove and ignore the pitiful liberal attempts to make you get rid of the most effective Republican campaign director in decades.
Sincerely,
Alexander Rubin
So typically Kerry. He clumsily and self-servingly changes Rove's statement, substituting "American" for Rove's additional use of the term "Liberal."
From that, he has projects his own self-evident "twisting of the truth" onto Karl Rove. Somehow, in Kerry's ungifted brain, the logical conclusion is that Rove has lied.
God, Kerry is such a weiner. Educated way beyond his intelligence, which given his demonstrated academic performance apparently doesn't require that much education after all, the man has absolutely no intellectual subtlety.
He knows less about "nuance" than a clam knows about rocket ships.
I wonder if there is anyone in the world who can truly stand to be alone in his insufferable presence for more than a half hour at most. And that includes Te-RAY-za.
Or to use the familiar:
"Urine Here"
See how he changed "liberals" to "Americans?"
Great letter! I also think we need to cc John Kerry, just so that he can see how we "followed instructions."
Not a bad idea, I should have cc'd Kerry my e-mail to the President. ;^)
:)
Thanks DTogo! Brilliant strategy!
Copied and pasted your letter and signed it Hillary Socialist - @miadream.com
It should have been @mia_nightmare.com!
:)
It's very simple. Everyone, left and right, felt FEAR on 9-11. We were all together on that one. As days went by however, those on the right began to feel ANGER toward those who struck us. The process of becoming a liberal involves psychological renunciation of one's American-ness, you have to become a "citizen of the world" and begin to see everything differently, therefore, leftists never got angry toward the perpetrators of 9-11 because it simply wasn't their country which got struck. The only anger they felt began when George Bush started to fight back, and it was directed at him.
Oh, yeah? And what if the readers at the White House are like FReepers, who only read the first couple words of any story before making up their mind about it? If they get several Kerry petititions and then read the first line of FReeper modification, they will think it's a Kerry one and toss it anyway.
Wayta go Karl Rove!! :)
