Why do you think they have been pushing to ban .50 calibers? The crapola about 'terror' and taking down aircraft is just cover for the realization that when 'altering or abolishing' kicks in, Armored Limosines will offer zero protection from a 50.

They are working on that also. They just haven't figured out a way to 'legislate' that one yet without dire consequences to (oligarchic) family fortunes.
