I thought he did make some interesting observations about kids and drugs, especially Ritalin. In light of what the Bush admin. is pushing for with more mental health "screening" in the public schools I think all parents need to be aware of their rights and potential for harm to their children should the experts decide some sort of drug is needed.
Cruise may be a bit wacky, but he's on to something about the drugging of children. Too many parents are willfully shoving Ritalin on kids (especially boys) who are simply being boys. I think much of psychiatric medicine is questionable at best. Thomas Szasz (sp.) has written some good work on this subject.

I agree. Just another example of Bush creating more federal intervention where its not needed. How is he conservative again? Oh, I forgot. He is a "social" conservative.
