To: I still care

Unbelievably bad news. Property rights are the cornerstone of this country. It also blows my mind about DU, they are shocked the the four most conservative justices were the ones against this. Sometimes I feel like this whole country could use a refresher on politics and government 101, and the stances of the politic parties, and the political systems of totalitarian states.

Appears that taking private property from an individual and transferring it to another individual is OK if the currently elected officials say so. What happens after the next election cycle. Can the home owner get a new set of officials elected who will take the land from the developers and sell it back to them? When will the cycle end?
