Thank you Mojo, Ma, and Star for preparing the Canteen for today's activities. Very interesting idea. I sure hope there is never a quiz on any of this stuff cause my memory ain't what it use to be. I have a hard time remembering what I was doing 15 minutes ago, much less years and years ago.
Now, let me think. What was going on in 1991?
All I can think of at the moment is that Mr. Beachy and I had only been married approximately 3 years and were living in a townhouse at the time. Somewhere later in that year, we decided it was time to move up to buying a bigger place to live. We also wanted get out of the fast-growing Waldorf area. Little did I know that near the end of 1991 or early the following year, my oldest son told me he was joining the Marines! What a shock!
Ok, now there are really a lot of posts here that I do want to try and read. So, I'm gonna take off for a bit to browse through the Canteen and see who's here, who's not.
Oh, speaking of which, I spoke to Celticlass this morning. She said that she has become busier at her new place more than at her old place. She watches her grandson's a lot. Plus, she'll watch other relatives children if they need a sitter. Well, it seems this is happening quite a bit recently. And, now that the kids are out of school, well...... She said she just has not had a lot of time to get on the computer. She is trying to keep all those kids busy! Well, before she knows it the day is over. She misses everyone.
