Yeah, it's not a favorite sport, but naturally, I've been immersed in it. Lots of TVs tuned to it. As I said earlier, when it gets to game 7, no one has any complaint comin' other than the outcome. Detroit had a 9 point lead in the 3rd quarter, then started behaving foolishly, and blew the lead and the game. Obviously though the NBA had its two best teams in the final, which is how it should work out. Not like three years ago, when the Lakers-Kings series was seven games long and much better than the final.

Rove made a speech to a private GOP group, not on the Senate floor. He didn't do anything to harm our nation or troops. He didn't name the DemocRATic Party or any DemocRATS. He talked about leftists whining after 9-11 and saying that we should find out why they don't like us.

Thank God George W. Bush was president at the time. I don't want to understand why they hate us. I want those who want us dead to be made dead first.

mmm maybe we can get a lot done over the next two days and head down... we've not gone down for the parade before it would be pretty cool!

Listening to Bruce right now.. he is SO calm and collected.

Doesn't matter, dfu. Pistons, Red Wings, Tigers (no way in hell are the Lions gonna do anything)...win or lose, the city's going down in flames. It's very appropos that Rush calls it "New Fallujah".

Well, it is now 8:30-ish Friday morning. Is the Motor City still standing?

Why do people insist on perpetuating the myth that Detroiters cannot control themselves under any circumstances? Is it because of the post-pennant riot following the Tigers' win back in the eighties? There is enough wrong with the city. Why make things up?

Good Morning, San Antonio!
Congratulations to the World Champion Spurs and to the citizens of San Antonio who know how to throw a great street party after the win...nothing burning, no police cars overturned, people just hugging, not mugging, in the streets.
Take the day off and let the party continue till the River Parade tomorrow. All Texans are proud of you and your great team and coach.

Wow. Thanks for posting these great photos last night and this morning. What a game! We're a little bleary-eyed here but still excited about the Spurs.

Thank You Spurs!

I was a doubter about Time Duncan before the game, now ESPN is calling him the 'greatest power forward' of all times.

3 Final MVP's is hard to argue alongside Magic and Michael Jodran!

why do you think I like the Buckeyes?

the national media in college football HATES anyone that isn't Miami, Choklahoma, USC or Notre Dame.

I mean I had too many things going.

I didn't say anything bad about anybody, including you. Why are you obsessing?
