"One could say that Osama bin Laden and these non-nation-state fighters with religious purpose are very similar to those kind of atypical revolutionaries that helped to cast off the British crown."
Marcy Kaptur- Democratic Representative Ohio
"He's (Osama bin Laden) been out in these countries for decades, building schools, building roads, building infrastructure, building day-care facilities, building health-care facilities, and these people are extremely grateful. We haven't done that."
Patty Murray- Democratic Senator Washington (speech to a high school honors class)
I think these 2 comments help prove Rove's point

Yes, I agree that we have a very strong White House. However, few of our many Judicial nominees have made it off the Senate floor and the Republicans are in the majority. Just recently Frist was willing to walk away from further debate over Bolton's nomination, but President Bush sent him back to the floor to push harder.Frist was not willing to walk away from Bolton. The President decided to not to recess appoint after giving that option consideration.
7 Republican senators made a deal with 7 Democratic senators to put only a handful of Judicial nominees through, thus ending the threat of a "nuclear (Constitutional) option.
Whatever one's opinion of the deal, it did not end the threat of the option in any way.

I'm glad this backfired on the whining, lying Dems. They brought this up to make the Reps look bad. I hadn't even heard of this. Thanks to the Dems, a few more million people now know that they suggested therapy for terrorists and that they were offended that they were ridiculed for such a stupid suggestion.
Hey Dems, if you want to make fools of yourselves, go right ahead. We won't stop you.

Ken Mehlman agrees and put it out in a
press release.
The Kaptur and Murray quotes are in there in addition to many many others.

Yes, and I laughed the whole time. Did you see the Gin soaked Kennedy's face....I have NEVER seen such hatred in all my life....Rummy just threw it right back in Gin's face.....and there isn't NOTHING the Senate can do about it.....heheheheh
And then to top everything off, what Rove said last night.....Hilderbeast's face was priceless....evil witch that she is....I thought there for a minute she was going to grow a wart on her nose, and jump on her 'turbo' broom....
I AM loving LIFE!!!!!

"Reversing field after a meeting with President Bush, Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist said he will continue pushing for a floor vote on John R. Bolton for U.N. ambassador. Frist switched his position after initially saying Tuesday that negotiations with Democrats to get a vote on Bolton had been exhausted." From an AP article.
Do you have a different source for this information? I may be wrong in my assessment of the facts as I know them.
In reference to the threat of a "nuclear" option ending when the 7 Republican senators made the deal with 7 Dem. senators to put through a handful of Judicial nominees, it did end the threat in this particular instance.

Hillary will never be elected president and two years from now she may not even be seen as a viable candidate by the Democrats....

Heres a good one.

At one point Ms. Pelosi even compared Osama Bin Laden, the leader of the Al-Qaeda terrorist group, to the American Founding Fathers who had, according to her, also been religious zealots.
