I say the President has a lot more on his plate than a missing-and-presumed-dead teenager. If the State Department has some sort of liason, then I'd say go for it, but you do not have the POTUS involved in this, or any other similar case.

Yes, the POTUS could do much more to help in this matter. I know it is very difficult in between giving away 50 Billion dollars of tax payers money to the (PA)muslims to build up their (Non-State) infastructure.
