Latest developments in Aruba (Thursday): AweMeinta reported today that the investigation has reached a 'deadlock'. The Aruba media is also reporting the same. Apparently there arent new leads to follow and the Aruban authorities are searching in the dark. Hasibokos.com has learned that the authorities are putting a lot of pressure on the four suspects who are now in custody right now. They are trying to get more information out of them, but this has not (yet) resulted in new leads. Hopefully the arrival of the search team from Texas will give new perspective on this case, cause if we summarize what the Aruban media is reporting right now: ' The investigation is STALLED'
weird - Greta saying she went to the house this morning and the house was "boarded up"... wonder if she meant locked up? Though she used that term two times...
My husband and I were on a cruise last week. The boat was in Aruba on the day the false report of Natalie's body being found was released. We knew something was up because we had taken a jeep tour of the island. I didn't realize we were coming up on the Holiday Inn, but all of the sudden there were spectators, police officers, and media cameras everywhere. We could see teams out searching the brush next to the beach. I remember looking around and noticing how dense the brush is, especially along the road across the street from the hotel. Aruba is extremely dry, with what looks like mesquite trees everywhere. They grow low to the ground and shade it so heavily that even in the heat of the day it's absolute blackness within the brush, not to mention dense and hard to get through. I can understand how finding a body would be difficult. I hope the team from Texas is successful!
