Well, I was wrong in what I said, but to me, "turned down" and "rejected" mean the same thing to me.
And when Geraldo said "failed judge," he wasn't speaking of taking a course, was he? I took that to be just the way Geraldo expressed it.
The way I took it was that PVDS failed, like in failed the test. However I don't know jack about the law in America, and zilch about the law in Aruba.
FAILED JUDGE = a SIT IN Judge who failed his finals to become a Full Time Judge, thus leaving him "turned down" for a Full Time or Sit In judge position. That is how I take it, this means be would no longer be able to even be a sit in judge, unless he went back to school again. Back to square one for the wanna be Judge.
the senior VDS employment/credentials are very difficult to figure out. first they said he was a judge, then it was no, he isn't a judge, he isn't even a lawyer, then he was back to being a judge, and one of the atty's i think it was Joran's atty who had studied with or worked with him and said he was very competent. now he is a FAILED Judge. is he a lawyer at all, has that been determined for sure?
