Re: "lighthouse embellishment" Posted at RW

"Some useful methods by the late Stuart Kind of 'The Scientific Investigation of Crime'. 'Consider a map of each crime -in this case the locations already used as places that the trio went with the person who was inside the vehicle with them. Take a map pin and place a piece of string around each point, then take another pin and find the place that stretched each thread on each pin as each named location fits as the SHORTEST or minimum amount of thread used'."

"I drew a line from the lighthouse to the regions said to be where Natalee was by the persons last seen with Natalee alive, and when she was not capable they stated by intoxication, and being also contained in a moving vehicle one must say with three persons. The line from Joran's home is 3 miles to the lighthouse. The circle encompasses the home as Joran's safe haven and familiar location to a one inch circle, that includes the santa ana church. Some have said of church and graves. The reasoning perhaps is there have been a recent spate of graves and tombs used as burial chambers as a copycat of Bindner's suggested location in San Francisco Bay as cold cases. The graves on the island are crypts are they not and yes I would assume that in legal circles this had been looked at as they are airtight. How do I know, I investigate graveyards in my work with those who work in them. "

"Why aren't we hearing from other American girls who have had some sort of experience with him?"

"I thought about that myself when reading the suspicions that this behavior is an ongoing thing with these young men on the islands. Taking advantage of girls on their last night etc. I think the girls are afraid, embarassed and just want to get out of there and forget about it. They don't want their friends and family to find out."

If they were drugged, they may not even remember. Or else they know that "something happened" to them but aren't quite sure what.

Yes but if they murdered her, they probably didn't have time to think everything through. Even Big daddy probably was stressed considering his suspicious actions since.

Murder is rarely perfect!

he'd have to be really dumb not to know that there would be surveillance cameras.

HAHAHA!

How many wrongdoers have a memory lapse when it comes to "surveillance cameras"?

Thanks for your reply.
I have 2 girls ages 16 and 12.

If your daughter was missing, could you honestly wait until 8am to speak to the person who last saw her?

Sometimes we get one wrong, but we must look at the overall solve&convictions rates obtained.

I still to this day believe the Ramsey's murdered their daughter Jon Bonet. This case involving Natalee, brings back the memories of how not to conduct a criminal investigation.

Mark Fuhrman was a very intelligent and street smart detective. It was a shame about his character assassination coupled with professional jealousy by the other detectives on the Simpson case.

I am glad you understood my comments on your handle was positive and playful in nature. Thank you, NSNR

Very interesting. I do hope that they've used the cadaver dogs in that cemetery.

Aruba wants Dutch Marines to aid in search

6/28/2005, 4:49 p.m. CT By PETER PRENGAMAN The Associated Press

ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AP) — Aruba's leader sought renewed help from Dutch Marines in the search for a young Alabama woman as the mothers of both the missing teen and a student jailed in the case criticized investigators for failing to find the truth.

Beth Holloway Twitty, mother of missing 18-year-old Natalee Holloway, said Tuesday she was crushed by the release of a justice official who had been arrested last week on suspicion of collaborating with his 17-year-old son in Holloway's disappearance.

On Sunday, police freed Paul van der Sloot after a judge ruled there was not sufficient cause to continue holding him. His son, Joran, is still in custody.

"That was a huge blow to us," Holloway Twitty told ABC's "Good Morning America." "We were devastated."

Holloway Twitty repeatedly has told reporters that she is convinced the Dutch father and son know more than they are telling. Holloway Twitty and others tracked down the van der Sloots the day Natalee disappeared, acting on tips and amateur detective work that revealed the younger van der Sloot was among the last people to be with her.

Holloway Twitty also has said that if investigators don't make progress soon, she may start to believe that they are trying to cover up something.

"The government, they are going to have to step forward and pull me through it and assure me where we are going and assure me we are making progress and assure me we will have Natalee," she told ABC.

But Joran's mother, Anita van der Sloot, insisted on her family's innocence in an interview Tuesday with The Associated Press.

She also expressed frustration with police, claiming that they were focusing on the van der Sloots only because they were stymied in their efforts.

"Why is the finger being pointed at Joran? Because he's the son of a judge?" she asked. "But there is no proof he did anything. Investigators have lost control (of the case) and don't know what to do anymore."

Van der Sloot said her family has been devastated since Holloway disappeared in the early hours of May 30.

"Our lives, and the life of a young teenager, have been destroyed," she said. "For us, the most important thing is Natalee and my son."

Both the Holloway Twittys and the van der Sloots "are feeling like they are losing a son or a daughter," said Ricardo Yarzagaray, an Aruban defense lawyer not connected to the case.

"This is one of the aspects that makes the case so dramatic. For anybody with kids, there are two natural fears: that they'll get arrested for a crime or somehow be a victim."

Aruban officials have said they are doing everything in their power to solve the case and are not protecting, or unduly harassing, anyone.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Nelson Oduber filed a formal request with the Netherlands to send in a new contingent of Dutch Marines based on a recommendation from a Texas volunteer rescue group, Texas EquuSearch, which said it could use the extra help.

Spokesman Ad van der Linde of the Dutch Defense Ministry said around 70 Dutch Marines among several hundred based on the island had assisted in three search mission. "They are definitely prepared to provide additional assistance."

Countless searches by a contingent of Dutch marines stationed in Aruba, as well as Aruban investigators and hundreds of resident and tourist volunteers, have failed to turn up any sign of Holloway.

The young honors student disappeared hours before she was to fly home following a five-day trip with 124 other Alabama students to celebrate their high school graduation. Her passport and packed bags were found in her room.

Well NSNR it's good to see that all the thread trolls are out in full force, I like to think of them as Oompah Loompahs. I think we've all tried to explain our reasons for discussing this case to these goofballs but all they want to do is try to "Piss on our neck and tell us it's raining." Gotta go home will pick up from here later.
Bye Oompah Loompahs!!!

Lack of a casket and a weeks-old cadaver would emit a very strong smell imo.

Quit playing games. Why don't you just come right out and bash Natalee's family and side with the VDS's and be done with it?

What? You don't like facetious replies. And I really thought you would appreciate one after you set the tone with this one: These people don't go to bed like normal folks, remember? JVDS wasn't even home at 3:00 a.m...

You're merely annoyed because I have pointed out that there are other possible explanations for some of the behaviors of the principles in this story other than the ones that have been sworn into evidence on this thread.

As for 'bashing'--that is not my style. (Exception: Hillary).
