You should include Comedy Central or at least Jon Stewart next time. That is where all of the Really Left viewers go for their "news".

Nancy Grace repeats at 10pm are beating the hell out of MSNBC best primetime shows.

That's just downright pathetic.

The good news continues.

If CNN is still getting more $'s /ad minute, the boards of the companies buying ads should be investigated for criminal actions or stupidity in supporting CNN.

CNN and MSNBC are probably considering Sending Pizza Coupons to attract new viewers.

Interesting. It seems that the numbers 2,3,4, and 5, don't add up to what Fox has, in any category.

Of course the libs will shrill that its a right wing conspiracy. Or that ABCNBCCBS, each have larger audiences. Ignoring basic facts. 1-more people have on air programing than cable (plus cable gives you on air programing). And 2- people CHOOSE the channels they want to watch.

Ravi, I appreciate the information, and the content of the post is easy to understand, but could you explain the title?

"1 FoxNews = 3.5 CNN = 12.5 MSNBC"

Is this market share?

Nancy Grace irks me! She's so dramatic and everyone is guilty until proven innocent! Go figure!

Grace has obviously attracted a chunk of Zahn's pitiful audience. After reading these numbers, one can see why the left hates Fox so passionately these days.

"could you explain the title?"

"1 FoxNews = 3.5 CNN = 12.5 MSNBC"
===

FoxNews audience is 3.5 times the size of CNN audience,
12.5 times the size of MSNBC...

Um...he is a funny guy, but if you can't see the fact that he leans to the left and has MANY DU fans, go read a few of their threads.

And just for reference, he had on Bill Moyers last night and they weren't talking about how nice the VRWC is being toward PBS.

How do the cable viewers compare to ABC, CBS, NBC for, say, the 6pm nightly news?

I caught a bit of CBS last night. Haven't watched CBS in years. The first story was one bashing SUV's because they don't do as well as regular passenger cars in roll-over tests, then a story on water and power shortages in Iraq, then they talked about the Air Force Academy.

One thing that was interesting was the video that they shot inside Iraq. That is one area that Fox really lacks. I would love to see at least 15 minutes a night showing the progress of the construction projects going on in Iraq.

I mean in terms of viewers. I'm trying to simplify that Fox had 2.5 million viewers last nite and CNN had 700,000. I just divided 2.5 million by 700,000 and came up with that ratio. Since I've been posting these numbers the last few days, that ratio has varied for Fox to CNN from 2.5 - 3.5 to 1.
