Do You Want to Understand the Whole Gaza Disengagement Thing? Now You Can.
Unity Coalition for Israel ^ | 6/22/05

Posted on 06/22/2005 3:32:05 PM PDT by Cinnamon Girl

You've heard about the disengagement plan, but maybe you don't really get what it's all about. Now it is explained in a short video, which you can watch online at israelunitycoalition.org.

Even watching only the first five minutes of this video is informative. You will see video footage of arab children explaining that they are raised to believe they will eventually have Jerusalem and the Jews will be gone. You will see muslim leaders lecturing in mosques that 'returning to the '67 borders is just the first step and eventually all the cities of Israel will be theirs.' You will see arab attacks on Israelis, including footage of a soldier who was murdered by an arab mob, dropped out a window, and mutilated by the filthy vermin in the street below.

Do you know that residents of Gush Katif have a sustainable industry growing hydroponic vegetables and greenhouse flowers? Did you know that the Jewish children who have lost their arms and legs to palestinian bombers will be kicked out of their homes so that those who murdered and harmed them and their families can move in?

Most people in Israel have to be perplexed about Sharon's plan to remove all the Jewish residents from Gaza and give the whole area over to the so-called palestinians. Sharon has not explained his rationale for this bizarre decision, but he is strongly supported by the United States, as Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice explained during her visit to Israel only days ago.

As one speaker on the video explained, historically, fleeing attackers has only provoked more terrorism. Chopping and hacking up the state of Israel while so-called palestinians continue to teach their children to aspire to the complete destruction of Israel will only further the plans of the terrorists, not those who seek peace.

Don't you wonder why Sharon or Condi Rice are thinking when they watch these arab speeches?

Confounding. Appeasement for peace has never worked historically. It won't work now either.

Hopefully what it means is that the next time there is state sponsored terror acts, Israel will be able to make a declaration of war and wipe the bastards off the face of the earth. The next day, Sharon can go on TV and simply say: "Whoever wants to be next, bring it on. And if a country funds the next attack, the next time you bend over to pray to your perverted moon god, kiss your goodbye because your capital city will be a heaping pile of smoldering ashe."

They're ignoring them. If you take them seriously, you realize a negotiated peace is a pipe dream.

While I'm supportive of Sharon if, and it's a big if, this results in a unilateral disengagement across the board, the stupidity of deporting Jews who are willing to stay, destroying homes, only to provide aid to build new ones is surpassed only by the stupidity of destroying business' that employ 6,000-9,000 palestinians, then supplying aid to create employment. Ironically, the only nation on earth willing to INVEST in the West Bank and Gaza is Israel, the only nation barred from doing so.

Actually the Israelis are rather in the same fix we are,
you cannot declare war against a stateless people.
Solution? Give them a state, then declare war.

The Israelis need to say, no more. I've seen it and the Israelis are being too PC. It will take some savage act by the Palestians and it will all be over.

The trouble is, as most of the video explains, strategically, the palestinians will be able to gather strength and do more damage, while blaming it on extremists and not declaring war. Then where will Israel be? Exactly where Israel is now: being attacked constantly while being urged to show "restraint." And then, after places like Ashdod are bombed repeatedly, people will be saying "just give them Ashdod and the violence will stop." And it will keep going.

That's exactly what's going to happen. An no one is going to care about dead Jews in Israel, including this administration, as long as the attacks aren't too flashy. The hospitial attack, had it killed 30 or 40, was a bad idea. Six dead, it would have been militants with no other choices. Israel has to separate unilaterally. And close the borders. The violence won't stop, and no one will care. Respond in kind, and ignore the world. There's no negotiated peace coming in the next couple decades. It's important the borders are defensible, that will be an issue in the West Bank.

How will the borders be more defensible if they give up Gaza? There are several military men on the video who explain that the terrorists will now have a deep water port to bring in their weapons among other things. What about all the stuff smuggled in the philadelphia road? If Gaza becomes autonomous under the PA, how will they be stopped from mounting rockets along their new borders and bombing the crap out of everything?

I can't imagine how Sharon can leave the port open. Or open the airport. Or give up the philadelphia road. My guess, they'll be shut again within 6 months. And yes, the trigger will be more dead Jews, a price that doesn't need to be paid. I think there are areas of Gaza that should have been kept, particularly the settlements and industrial park in the north, the border with Egypt should have been kept and widened, as should the eastern border. Heck, I wish Israel would give up our aid and take back a third of the Sinai. Israel could always negotiate these things away to the democratic palestinian state in the cloude another day. I like the concept, I don't particularly like the lines, but then I don't live there and no one asked me. Of course those who live there weren't asked either.

Let's give Al Qaeda a state.

They're getting one in Gaza. With a corridor to the West Bank, infiltration into Iraq will be a snap.

I defer to the Israelis making their own choices.

Suffice to say that I offer both moral support and financial support unconditionally against muslims.

And if it comes to it, physical support.
Good luck to them.

The only policy that will work when dealing with jihad vermin is to "fight chaya with chaya"! Terrorize the terrorists and their supporters. send them to their "Allah". Allahu fubar!

Exactly right. Give them their state, wait till they attack and then respond and don't stop till Israel has achieved complete annihilation of these Islamic vermin.

Then take back the territory and tell the world to shove it!
