Put not your faith in men (or women).

Let's just say that there are many aspects of this man's personal life that I find less than admirable...

He should refuse to pay such a riduclous amount.

What child needs $3500 a month in support?

I'd tell to judge to lock me up so I can collect my three hots and a cot.

Judges only have the power you give to them....

He would have been much better off if she had simply yanked him and cranked him without waking him up and thanked him.

I just saw him in Texas at Sean Hannity's live radio show. I wonder when he found out about this son and if his wife knew about it. She is a very pretty women. Why someone cheats I do not understand. But this is a dissapointment since I kind of liked Ted. But no matter, ever since The Bushes let me down when dealing with the Terri Schiavo situation I have come to learn not to think so highly of anyone anymore.

ordered to pay child support to a woman he had a brief affair with in 1995. Nugent will $3,500.00 a month to Karen Gutowski, who is the mother of the now 10-year old boy

Something is amiss there. It's only June of 2005. Either:
1. the boy is only 9, not 10;
2. the affair was in 1994; or
3. the boy was born very, very prematurely.

Even if the kid were conceived on the very first day of 1995, he couldn't be 10 yet unless his gestation period were less than six months ...

Sorry, sometimes nitpicking takes over my brain.

This is sad. It's incredibly selfish to birth children in bastardry and give no thought to their lives.

Ted Nugent and his wife have appeared on TV shows and talked about how much in love they are and how to forgive, make a marriage work, etc. Ted acknowledged wild days back in his rock days and way before his marriage.

I don't know if his wife was aware of this affair when they appeared on the TV shows, including Sean Hannity's. This was within the last year.

Regardless, I wish them the best. Ted Nugent is a REAL American with real, true beliefs and from hearing him talk, a Constitutionalist. What's more, he recorded some damn good rock. I hope things go well for him and his marriage. It is rare to have a rock star/Hollyweird/entertainment personality with right thinking beliefs. Ted Nugent is one of a very rare breed.

If he was responsible for this young boy's birth...then he is responsible to help financially. That is the bottom line. Like him or not. The children cannot suffer cause dad's don't want to pay for their actions.

Adultery is something that I can not and will not excuse. He's been a supporter on the Second Amendment issue, but I have NO respect for the man now. What he did to his family is inexcusable. I wouldn't blame his wife one bit if she divorces him. I divorced my husband when he cheated on me. I don't give second chances when it comes to this issue. If he did it once, he'd do it again. End of story.

My professor in family law has a cousin who plays for the MN. Twins. He had a child out of wedlock and paid child support for 12 years. He has since married another and landed a major, multi-million dollar contract. When the mama heard about his contract she proceeded to take him back to court to increase the child support payments. Her request was so outlandish that the judge ordered DNA tests since they were never married and the amount was so high. Well, lo and behold...the boy wasn't his.

This gold-diggin' rag managed to destroy a few peoples lives for the sake of the almighty dollar.

The Nuge should've kept it in his pants but ANY woman that gets pregnant these days without being married first, [and even back 10 years ago when this affair took place] is looking for a husband or a bundle of money. Especially when the man is famous.
