Ted Nugent Ordered To Pay Child Support

Dover, NH (AHN) - Rocker/hunter Ted Nugent is ordered to pay child support to a woman he had a brief affair with in 1995.
Nugent will $3,500.00 a month to Karen Gutowski, who is the mother of the now 10-year old boy.
According to the Foster's Daily Democrat Newspaper in New Hampshire, Nugent was originally served with papers regarding the lawsuit while playing a show with ZZ Top at the Meadowbrook Amphitheater.
Gutowski will have sole custodial rights to the child, but no visitation rights for Nugent have been ordered as of yet.
Oddly enough, on Nugent's own website, it states the guitarist was named "Father of The Year". He has been married to his wife, Shemane, since 1989. they have four children together.

hey now, lets' not call a kid a bastard child, that is just tacky. The kid did nothing to deserve what his mother and father did. He is a innocent victim of it.
I do agree that if I was Ted's children with his wife they may not be to happy to have a half sibling be a part of their family since it s a child that he had with someone other than their mother. However, Ted should have thought about his kids feelings when he started spreading his seed. His responsibility is to all his children. He should get to know his child out of wedlock and I hope he does. If it means that the kids with Shemane have to get some counseling to help them cope than so be it. But I'm not Ted and who knows what he is going to do. I just think if he really cared for this child, he would have a relationship with him/her.
Well good for you. Everyone is different, others may not feel the same way you do. I am not saying it is right. Its one of those things that men do and wish they had not done. I am sure Shermane knew all about Teds inability to stay away from women on the road before she married him. Maybe it is something she is working with him to stop instead of calling him names and running away.

2) How much does he make? (I make 52k)
3)How much do you make? (My ex makes 40k)
4) What does it matter what his wife makes?
Who was at fault in the divorce? (My ex cheated and filed for divorce. I fought for custody, but that doesn't work for men).
You see, specifics make all the difference in determining who's getting screwed.
BTW, if he is not allowed to see his child then it's all about money. He shouldn't pay a dime unless he gets visitation rights. What took her so long to step forward?

Wrong. Judges can 'garnishe' Ted's income to pay support. If this is Ted's boy, embrace the little guy and pull him into the family where he belongs. Ted and the Mom may have made a mistake, but the little boy isn't a mistake, he's Ted's flesh and blood son!
yes--this is true... and in totality, he may be a very good person/American...
too bad his mistake is one of the types that is unraveling American society... and i say this as someone who likes Ted Nugent...

Why you questioning me as if I owe you any explanations. I don't care what my son's father's wife makes, I just made the point as a married couple they aren't hurting financially.
As for the rest I don't care to explain to someone my situation when I don't know them personally. I can tell by you askin me in the way you wrote it that maybe you are a bit bitter towards women who get child support cause of how you got screwed. Sorry, you got hurt, but don't generalize all women in a category like your ex.

What an odd thing to say. If the teenage kids or mom are upset, it should be at their father who betrayed all of them. Of course, it is easier to blame the child.

Lady, you don't get it, do you? You see, I'm remarried to a woman who receives child support for her 17 year old daughter. Her ex cheated and left. He played and now pays. As it should be. My ex played and hit the lottery. The double standard is revolting. I'm not bitter toward women. Just the man-hating system making lawyers, psychologists and cheating women rich.
