I live in the NY metro area.
It doesn't cost $3500 to raise a kid in NY.
It doesn't cost $2000 to raise a kid in NY.
There is NO excuse on earth why a child deserves such a high amount.
Kids do not own any part of their parent's earnings or wealth. Think about it, a child, when they leave the house, cannot sue the parent for their share of their parent's wealth -- it's not theirs.
$3500 a month is really alimony hidden under the guise of child support.
No excuse.

What father of four should be out having affairs anyway?! Risky behavior and it's come back to haunt him.

I'd tell to judge to lock me up so I can collect my three hots and a cot. Uh, yeah sure. And what kind of fatherly example would THAT be for the 4 kids at home with his lawful wife?
To: NotJustAnotherPrettyFace
Heh, I'm not married, so guess I don't have that problem...

I didn't think you did. :-)

Pompous ass ping! I decided to say hello to a number of ya'll - but its OK because since you are all without sin you can hammer me too.
I can't decide how many people to ping on this one. Ted Nugent is one of the good guys. I know that say I was a rock star on the road 9 months of the year with hundreds of hot young things, throwing me their panties, trying to sweet-talk their way though the stage door, hanging around my limo or my hotel's lobby just trying to get my attention, well I'd resist - cause I love my wife. See its all so easy - you're married so temptation is not a problem. So simple. Oh, and on the off chance its been a long time since you've been home, you're tired, maybe had a few after closing ... well you dirtbag - you better not have sinned.
If he slipped once or even twice - I'd cut him some slack. ' Course I'm a guy and was almost a rock 'n roll star ...
For those cranking up their flamethrowers - I've been married for 25 years (this December 20th) and have never cheated on my wife - although I've been to a few strip joints and have lusted in my heart. Its really weird - I like to see naked women. I've tried to get help but nothing seems to work. I still think an artfully posed naked gal can be one of the most beautiful things in the world. So shoot me. ;-) - Wait! Don't! I'm conservative! Honest! Even if I don't go to church real regular-like. Honest!

If he doesn't want to pay, then he should have never slept with her. Hey what about a man's right to choose? /sarc

How much does a vasectomy cost?

Well, I know if I was judged by the standards of some on this thread, I would be a low life bottom dweller in their book.
I have seen Ted and his wife tearfully discuss this affair. He knows he screwed up.
Conservatives, in general, live by higher moral standards than liberals, but if we demand perfection we are going to be a mighty small bunch.

Congratulations.
You were able to take a thread about Ted Nugent and his illegitimate child and make it all about your own agenda, hating Bush and canonizing Terri Schiavo.

What in the hell are you ranting about? I know he's one of the good guys, but he still should have kept his zipper closed.
I still like him, but he made a mistake and he broke his marriage vows.
I'm sure his wife has forgiven him and that's all that matters. But his zipper and the zipper of all married men should stay closed unless he is with his wife.

We all make mistakes.Yikes. Let's not stoop to the Clintonian level of calling sins "mistakes."
A mistake is when you misread the label and pick up grapefruit juice when it says "orange juice" on your wife's shopping list.
Cheating on your wife is no mistake.

Say do you like to play pool? Laugh! I bet there is enough of us perfect folks to even start a bowling team.

No one said it was easy to keep your marriage vows. But it IS a VOW after all.
