The United States to give North Korea 50,000 tonnes of food aid

The United States said on June 22 it would give North Korea 50,000 tonnes of food aid, saying its decision was based on humanitarian need and was not linked to efforts to end Pyongyang's nuclear ambitions. 'The United States will be donating, in response to the World Food Program appeal, 50,000 metric tonnes of agricultural commodities for North Korea,' State Department spokesman Adam Ereli said, adding it was not designed to lure North Korea to six-party talks on ending its suspected nuclear arms programs.

This country is such a failure, we don't have that much food to spare. Doesn't anyone listen to the queerbait, turban head democRATs? They are so wise, ya know?

I don't remember him campaigning as a big spender.

He campaigned as a "compassionate conservative" which, evidently, is exactly the same thing. Long gone are the days when the platform of GOP Presidential candidates emphasized reducing the size and scope of gov't, unfortunately.

...this is just as weak as the Clinton-Carter policy.

Well, you know they are brothers now.

"The U.S. continues to give money away, cancel debt and push the debt level close to $10 trillion yet we continue to give away resources to corrupt regimes out to nuke us"

And the President just signed a bankruptcy bill making it harder for Americans to file for bankruptcy. Socialism is alive and well in the USA, as long as the golden goose taxpayers are around. There comes a point where there are only so many producers (taxpayers) to support idiot domestic and international welfare programs. How long will this go on? Only God knows..one thing for sure the insanity will one day come to an end one way or another.

So, lessee here if I've got this straight... 200,000 metric tons in the latest three years of "agricultural commodities" the taxpayers of the United States are giving to this commie tinhorn to distribute as he wishes, and he launches his big dong missiles towards Japan, and builds his nuclear warheads anyway. Makes one want to fetch the checkbook, doesn't it? How did we overlook Fidel? I'll bet he's bummin.

This is absolute idiocy.

Scuse me? There are people HERE in THIS country that could use 'free food'. (me being one of them, since the cost of groceries these days is through the roof)

Explain why we would be sending our commie enemies ANYthing 'free' (other than free/at our expense rides straight to hell).

AFTER THE MILITARY, IT IS SENT TO CHINA AND SOLD TO THEM

A DOCTOR FROM GERMANY WAS IN NORTH KOREA FOR ABOUT A YEAR AND THAT IS WHAT HE REPORTED ABOUT FOOD WE GIVE THEM.

Great, keep giving them food so that Kim can keep pouring all his money into nuclear missiles.

Foreign aid may be defined as a transfer from poor people in rich countries to rich people in poor countries.

If we had any sense, we'd deliver it to their capital via Tomahawk missles or ICBM's.
