So, Senator Dick Durbin is "sorry if his words offended..."? In other words, he's not sorry for what he said, he's sorry if he offended anyone. Slick. Make it seem like an apology without actually apologizing.
The democrats, predictably, are urging all of us to just "move on" now. Senator Durbin, you need to do two things. You need to apologize for the reckless, despicable comments you made slandering our troops with ridiculous Nazi comparisons, and then you need to RESIGN from the body you disgraced with your seditious and irresponsible statements that provided aid and comfort to our enemies.
Then and only then will we MOVE ON.

I heard it was the ADL who drove his apology.
They were offended that 6 million jews being incinerated would be compared to having women's panties put over one's head.
He pissed off the liberals with his rhetoric, and that was unacceptable. The fact he pissed off our military, or conservatives did not matter to him in the least.
There was a bit on Fox this morning that suggested that Daley had something to do with the "apology".
Remember what happened to Trent Lott, who had the audacity to praise Jesse Helms at his own birthday party? 5 apologies, appearances on BET and promising to change his name to Martin Luther King didn't satisfy the democrats. They hounded the issue until he was forced to resign as majority leader.
Durbin's idiocy is ten times worse than anything Trent Lott said. We're at war, and he slandered our troops and provided aid and comfort to the enemy by providing them propaganda, which, by the way, Al-Jazeera is already using to boost the morale of muslim terrorists.
Dick Durbin needs to RESIGN from the senate IMMEDIATELY.
Durbinladen's actions on the Senate floor were an act of sabotage against our military.
