But .. there's one big difference between Frist and Lott. Frist got taken to the woodshed .. but Frist WILL DO WHAT THE PRESIDENT ASKS HIM TO DO .. Lott would not!!

Yea for better food! I still haven't gotten to know the players very well. I do like that Kahlil (sp?).

There are some that believe that the genocide didn't exist. Shame on them! I do have one picture, a sort of class picture of all the kids in the orphanage. Some of the little boys are wearing fez's, but mostly they a look pretty ragged.

thanks for the info. It must be a common name as I had an uncle named Garabed (shortened at Ellis Island from Garabedian).

I said IMHO we do not have an accent others will say we do. I come from Kent and we say that the Londoners and in particular those that call themselves Cockney have accent but we do not.

The older people consider that we speak correctly and the rest of the country does not LOL.

There is a certain snobbishness in the South but in a way an envy that our accent does not immediately identify us as coming from a certain area. However with more people traveling around the country both for work and pleasure one hears more accent all the time and they become mixed and change though I feel that northerners will retain their accent whilst southerners who do not have a very pronounced accent pick up the dialect of the area they live in which I suppose was what I was trying to convey.

I think the Slush Puppy is a brand name of the machine, but the products are sometimes called different things like the icee or slushy.

IRC, Stop and Go and 7-11 have the slush puppy machines.

In the UK traditional milk shakes of just frothy milk and a flavour is considered for children whereas the more fancy milkshakes frappes etc are now aimed at the adult market I believe there are even alcoholic ones now.

I still prefer the traditional ones without ice cream.

Regarding flavoured ice cream I think we have similar number of flavours here though different flavours to reflect the different tastes of the 2 countries.

It IS a sore spot for most military folks........which is why I put "normalized" in quotes.

It's diplospeak and I'm not sure it has much meaning.

Oh, and you're most welcome for the back up. The thought of your being a Hillary supporter made me fall on the floor with uproarious laughter. I just thought that (stupid?) poster should know how ludicrous it was.

(I didn't expect thanks. :o)
